Sunroof Blank

Planning on removing my sunroof in the next couple of weeks on my track car and was wondering what people have used as a blank. Not quite sure on what material to use and what thickness? The blank will just be bonded and riveted to my roof before i have the car painted.

 

Any help would be much appreciated.
