Just about to do that, I believe the previous owner was a member so they might know the car. I've seen your posts on there regarding sourcing a 255 engine. Good luck with it, that 309 will go like a bloody rocket with that in lol.

Very nice. As much as I wanted one. I couldn't convince the other half that there is enough room in the back for our daughter and her stuff. So a megane it was. :-P

Very nice - I used to own #175 a few years ago :) Always loved the look of the rear end on them as well. Only modification i did to mine was a K-Tec silencer which sounded lovely on overrun :)

Great car, lethal on a frosty road. Friend had one which he loved but binned it at 5mph on a housing estate. Calvin.

Thanks for the comments chaps - Alex, that's a lovely beast, are they after market rear lights?

Yeah, it's pretty feisty in the wet as well, I've had it unexpectedly sideways three times in two days so far. I think a lot of this is down to average tyres on the rear with only 3mm tread left, come springtime they're getting changed for some OE Michelins.

Yeah, they were on the car when I bought it - thankfully because the car was black they didn't look too out of place (for an aftermarket light) :)

From memory I'm fairly certain they were the ones made by AutoArt.

Yeah it's a phase two, so some styling differences, more stable suspension setup and most importantly more oommph than the phase 1.
