Aerial Removal

Been trying to remove the aerial without success, can anyone tell me how it is removed please.

somewhere along the lines of remove the interior light console then its just 1 nut and the aerial should just pull out. might be a tad rusty though

Feel a bit of an idiot

 

It's a cover that need pulling off to expose a 8mm nut, was welded on by some corrosion, now all sorted thanks..
