Part Prices And Where From?

Looking for a couple more things for my mi16 rebuild including a head gasket set and piston rings. From what I've found online prices are within the region of £100 each and being the tight student that I am thought I'd ask if anyone could recommend suppliers that are cheaper than this.

 

Euro car parts are listing an elring gasket set for £40 but like most things on their site it is sold out. Is this price still available anywhere or has the listing not been updated in a few years?

 

I've still to contact my local motor factors (Dingbro) which I'll do this weekend. If anyone could post up prices they have paid recently that would be great.

Find your local engine remanufacturers, i just picked up mains, big ends, crank seals, head bolts, hg for £130, all payen and acl/king.

 

My local motorfactor quoted well over double for the bearings, which came from the same trade supplier.
