Good evening every one, I am wondering if one has owned or is the owner of this car or been to look at it, the car is on Ebay and on Gumtree at the moment and has been a few time, what I can see is it has one of them horrible dizzy conversions bits as it is running a Mi engine and to me it has been robbed of bits of interior bits as it is a mix of black and gray, is this one of the early Miami blue 205's and if so should the interior be all black or gray, now I no the seats are wrong. I am looking for a bit of info as I am looking for a xmas present to my self and that could be it, all so wondering what sort of value it is as it is up for £1000 with no mot or tax and poor running, any info would be great

Good chance it'll be a limited edition. Has it a sunroof?

Ltd editions had grey carpet, full grey leather seats, PAS, sunroof and electric windows.

I couldn't see it on eBay, but from the pics on Gumtree it appears to be an interesting one. Grey interior with grey carpet, sunroof and elec windows. I didn't see pas, but this could always have been removed to make space for the Mi16 lump. So it could be a limited edition as Alan says. The black door cards could easily have been a more recent change. As to price - like most things, it depends on what someone is willing to pay. If its not been crashed and not full of rot - and you can verify its heritage, then it may be an interesting project. The Miami blues are currently popular and if its a limited edn...

Good luck if you go for it. Keep us posted with some project pics :)

If orginal paint then it will be a Ltd ed, which going by the DVLA looks right, Needs allot of work and finding a 16v ECU etc is getting quite difficult in good condition, Worth a bid at a silly price

Thanks for that Miles, as you no I have got the bits to sort the inside of the car out sat in my loft and I have got 2 MI16 wire looms with ecu's sat in the loft as well that have never been near a 205 and there is a nice bloke in fordingbridge that works wonder's with wire looms. I have made contact and see what happens, look at my topaz that I brought they wanted silly money and picked that up at sensible price in the end.

Looks like an SE but may well have been stolen at some point n bits stripped of it. Had some dodgy paint under the bonnet as it's all over the top mounts and slam panel stickers as well.
