Rear Shocks For Track Use?

Recommended Posts

Rams_gti6

Which shocks are recommended for track use, I'm wanting some coilovers for my track car but not sure which shocks I should go for, use the black top Bilsteins the yellow ones or use the fan adjustables that come with the coilovers kits?

There's several different 'yellow top' dampers so colour is nothing to go by, in fact the yellow dampers have black boots so are in fact 'black tops' too! :P

I'd go for GRP Ns(1038) or if you've got the extra cash GRP As/Tarmac (2313)

I've got the gravel dampers, work very well on the road with 21mm bars.

Think they're same as GRP Ns but with a bit more rebound damping?? They're proper Motorsport ones with a larger body though whereas the grpNs aren't.

I think so yes, can't recall the part number, slightly more bump and 25% more rebound than the Sport damper.

The so called Group A's cost no more than the Group N's, But allot of resellers double the price on them
