Tailgate Badge Replacment Tips

Currently projecting my 205. Decided to replace the silver 205 GT badge on the rear tailgate with a red 206 GT badge.

Problem is, if i remove the 205 GT badge, i'll be left with a hole. Also, because the 205 badges are a small rectangled plate with the letters raised, the 206 GT badge won't cover the hole. Can you get blank badges? or maybe i could file the GT down? but am reluctant to do that.

 

Any suggestions appreciated.
