Came across this and though I'd share (It's a Ford by the way, not Pug)... What an undertaking! Thats the last time I complain about having to weld in a postage stamp sized repair piece!

 

Don't scrap your 5 door 205's yet folks, this day may come!

Fairly common i believe, my uncle did it a few years ago restoring an rs2000

I've seen some pretty brave floor and front end repairs but this is a first for me.

 

My first thaughts were along the lines of "My god, thats mad / dangerous", but I guess it's like a lot of things, in that it's a lot to do with the person doing the work. If it was done properly, then I'd be happy enough owning / driving it!
