Cleaning Coolant Hoses

Recommended Posts

scottbarton

After buying a second hand set of BakerBM silicone hoses in Blue, they were a tad grubby so set about cleaning them...by slinging them in the dishwasher. Maximum heat, intense wash, complete with 'Finish' Powerball and risne aid.

Just to let you all know that the dishwasher survived, it cleaned the hoses perfectly and the missus was completely oblivious...ha ha!

You are one brave brave man.

Of fear of buggering up the dishwasher....or from the wrath of the wife!

Just remind her that she should be glad you bought her a dishwasher in the first place...

I dishwash loads of bits. Just as long as you rinse cycle it after it's all good.

Cylinder heads come up well

The oven is very useful for heating heads up to insert and remove valve guides in vauxhall heads.
