Change Slide Bearings In Strut Body

Hi,

 

Does anyone know how to change the 40mm slide bearings/bushing in a Peugeot sport strut body.

and is it possible to buy the bearings anywhere.

Hi Klaus,

 

I find it's easiest to machine them out personally but I also have a tool that pulls them out although can be awkward to use.

 

You need to record the position of the DU bushes so when you re install them they are at the correct height.

Ok Are they just pressed into the strut or are the secured in any way by locktite or so ?
