lapr 4 2 Cars Posted October 19, 2013 I have a 1993 engine, box, loom and ecu (Motronic). The engine is buggered (hg failure) and it looks like some one has treated the head to a bit of chemical metal... The original plan was to send it to my uncle for a re build but I need to raise some funds to sort my pug out and get it back into use! So.. Anthony 1,003 Posted October 19, 2013 Probably £100-200 for the lot, depending on whether you'll split or only sell it as a complete job lot. The gearbox alone if good has to be £50 minimum, the Motronic loom and ECU must be atleast the same again, and then you've other bits like the exhaust manifold (if uncracked) etc. The bare engine will have a value in scrap, if nothing else, but if you were to split that then certain bits are typically wanted (eg the camshaft is a useful upgrade for the 2.0 Turbo engine) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Would cost me a lot more to get the parts over again if I had too! Thanks for the input anyway chaps, but looks like I'll have to find another way to unleash the beast!!
