How Do You Connect Vacuum Advance To The Inside Of The Dizzy?

Recommended Posts

iPlod999

Had my VA refurbished recently.

Not sure if I connected back together properly.

When I took it off it just unscrewed and came off. When refitted just done the reverse.

Welshpug advises 'yes' it should be attached. ;)

Got it out this morning but just cannot see how the get the 'hole' over the 'silver pin'.

Cheers Grandos.

As it goes success! And it was pretty straight forward.

Pop off the rotor arm and metal lid on the dizzy.

Then there is one screw left on the side.

Take this out and the inner chamber is able to rotate. Turn it until the pin is closer/visable in the gap. Hook on the VA and rotate the chamber back in place.

Replace all screws, lid and rotor arm.

Job done. Hopefully, this will help others.

Cheers.
