"then Unscrew The Threaded Stud"

Recommended Posts

mmt

Hi,

It´s a couple of yers since I last fiddled with the rear beam.

I´m about to take of the TBs. In the Lowering guide it says: "Then unscrew the threaded stud using a suitable screwdriver until considerable resistance is felt".

Does that mean that the threaded stud must be taken of the TB og should it just be loose?

No problem in getting the locking nuts unscreved but the studs are stuck!!!

Thanks,

You only have to remove the nuts. Don't worry about the studs, they stay in the torsion bars.

Resistance is when setting the measurement on rebuild.

I wind the d/e stud all the way into the torsion bar to start with
