MiniGibbo 142 Posted October 6, 2013 As random as this sounds I have an empty boot lid and a glass unit. How do I out them together..? Is there a rubber or is it just stuck in with mastic..? Thanks
Slo 283 1 Cars Posted October 6, 2013 It has a rubber seal same type as the windscreen. Servicebox showing as £27.70 from main dealer if you can still get them.

jackherer 543 Posted October 6, 2013 The rubber trim is just cosmetic, the glass is bonded as has Daviewonder says. I got a new rubber trim not long ago so they should still be available. In fact I ended up with two, I'll try to find it and list it in for sale later.

2052006 10 Posted October 7, 2013 (edited) How does the rubber trim / weather strip fit in around the glass? Can it be fitted with the glass in place ie. already bonded in? Also just called the dealer. £27 for the weather strip, still available from the factory, apparently. Edited October 7, 2013 by 2052006
