Edp 67 3 Cars Posted October 2, 2013 Ok so I've got a squeak under the front of the car. Its so annoying. I ramped the car up and got the mrs to press down on the suspension tops and rock the car. Bingo, anti roll bar bushes. The ones on the car aren't that old but I can't be bothered to f*ck about so I order a new set. Fitted them tonight, pushed the front end up and done, peace and quiet. Lovely. Just got back from a swift 20minute test drive round the block. Drive it into the garage, the squeak is back. Am I doing something wrong? The subframe was powder coated and the little ARB brackets cleaned up recently. Everything is tight. Its doing my head in. Mi16 goes like stink though soo much fun. HELP.

pug_ham 243 3 Cars Posted October 3, 2013 Is the arb painted where the bushes sit? g
Rich_p 23 Posted October 3, 2013 Should the bar/bushes be lubed? I know when I got some for the back of the civic they came with some red grease.
Tom Fenton 1,536 Posted October 3, 2013 I'd try some silicon grease where the bar runs in the bushes.
Edp 67 3 Cars Posted October 3, 2013 Replaced with OE bushes. The arb and subframe are are both powder coated. Cheers Tom, I had a read up on google yesterday and that mentioned silicone grease. Apparently it dosen't dry out. I've got some ordered so I'll let you know how I get on. Ed
