so you have it sitting on a jack that has wheels, and the sketchiest jacks known to man, just get some bloomin axle stands!!!

It's a hydraulic trolly jack.

 

The only thing holding up a hydraulic trolley jack is a rubber O ring, they can (and do) fail in service.

£20 for axle stands and £5 for chocks. Safety costs a minimal amount.

Totally agreed , need to be very careful and verify that the car is well/firmly supported before attempt doing any kind of work from underneath .

Yup , i have this the same ones from the Lidl supermarket :) (aside from the bigger/stronger ones which i bought from the tool shop) .. picked up 2 packs (1 pack contains 2 stands) during the usual shopping , dirty cheap and are reasonable quality for DIY jobs .
