Paul_13 212 1 Cars Posted January 25, 2014 I spy a bleeding turbo I upsized the fuel filter, was a bitch to fit My new conrods, from a hdi 306. Straight swap for 306 d turbo items. Found the boost leak! New one
Paul_13 212 1 Cars Posted January 25, 2014 Also fitted this: Manual boost controller. Helps with wastegate creep and you can control what boost the turbo runs. I turned the fuel up a fair whack after this and its peaking at around 30 psi. Need to fit my ground LDA pin for more fuel on boost.

Paul_13 212 1 Cars Posted April 12, 2014 Right update time...Thanks again to Trent for the clocks/loom/dash surround!I fitted these and every dial worked from the off so was happy with that, had to replace a s*it load of bulbs but thats a given with 205 clocks.I was most chuffed about the rev counter working straight away, I know these can be a c*nt to get working. All in all, it was pretty straight forward, i've taken the dashboard out in 205's enough times and had the whole thing back together and working in about 3 hours. The stdt loom was like for like plug wise against the old NAD loom. The "oh s*it my engine's already f***ed light"I didn't have the coin tray or the other triangle trim so I decided to copy a mates idea and modify the cowling to accept a base model triangle trim.I got it through a MOT earlier and went to costco to stock up on veg Also centralised the rack and got the tracking sorted, should handle a bit better now.Next on the list is:Fit gti valance to be able to lower the rad furtherFit a slightly larger intercoolerBuild up the engine with the td04Get the exhaust built upSort out some uprated suspension

GLPoomobile 958 Posted July 25, 2014 Boom, boom.boom, let me here you say.... This made me laugh, as we've been playing that song recently as it's going on the playlist for my son's first birthday party* Somehow we discovered months ago that he likes it. "Geronimo, look out below, here comes the brother with the offbeat flow" *Totally inappropriate for any child's party, but that just makes it funnier
