Opinions On Wishbone Brands

Recommended Posts

Capn. Pugwash

Done my 4th set of wishbones in the last 75,000km so it's time to go shopping again :( Dead front bushes as usual.
I was very disappointed with the QH ones I used last time; this time round I've found 'bones made by Febi, TRW and Optimal. Does anyone have any experience with these, or opinions on quality? I can't find the motaquip ones anywhere. I tried some poly bushes I got from the 'bay too- too hard for commuting and eventually slogged out just like the rubber ones.

The dealer near me isn't very helpful so the option of getting a set of oem bushes (kleber?) isn't available, unless someone wants to sell me some and pop them in the post! :)

Back to the dealers and order Partnumber: 3599 07, that's the full kit including bolts. All the aftermarket wishbones have crap bushes in my experience.

The trouble is trying to find a dealer that's willing to post them to me...

Motoquip wishbones have the OE kleber bushes fitted. There were some on eBay at reasonable cost.

That's funny, all my ebay searches have rolled a donut for motaquip or kleber...

Did see these though: LINK

Not keen on the price plus having to buy 309 driveshafts.

Go speak to Vern Donaldson at Peugeot Automobile's Australia in Homebush, he posts to me in the UK so shouldn't see him not posting to you in Australia !

If he won't which is unlikely I will post a set out to you I have in my loft.

Say Craig from Scotland recommended you speak to him.
