So, my after my recent MOT, the tester found a patch of rust, he advised a patch to cover it. I have tonight after a few beers attacked the area with a wire wheel and pulled out ton after ton of crappy filler and sealant to be left with this:

So, do I keep cutting and plate over?

 

What's best?

PS- the big holes are from where A/C used to be.

However, just been attacking it some more with a knotted wheel, cutting dead stuff away with a grinder, I think it's actually a nice easy plate job. I hope.

Yeah, I meant cut out all the crap and re-make the pannel out of plate.
