Cti. What To Look For

I've had a read through the buying guide and ive also bought th essential buying guide.

 

Just wanted to know if anyone has any extra advice on what to check for when looking at a Cti.

 

Its an 89 and has had the 1.9 engine put in it.

Much of the general 205 things obviously apply, the CTi specific bits that spring to mind are to carefully check the bits that are peculiar to the CTi are hadr to get hold of - carpets are specific and often tatty, window rubbers again specific and shrink/crack- hard to get hold of. Obviously condition of the roof as well.

Its got a load of spares with it. Roof frame, rubbers, rear doocards, parcel shelf.

 

And its had a new roof fairly recently.

 

I'm fairly optimistic having spoken to the owner at great length.

Fingers crossed its a good one. Like above the carpets tend to split in the rear footwells. Should have lower mileage maybe as they tend to get used seasonally
