306 Dturbo Rear Beam Help

Hi,

 

My car failed mot yesterday as the beam has seized on one side, one of my mates has just said to me he is scrapping his 306 dturbo next week and his rear beam if fine, I jut wanted to know if it will fit?

 

Also his beam has drums and men has discs so could I change over my stub axles to run rear discs on the back instead of the drum as I will have to change my brand new handbrake cables

Is "your car" a 205 hence you are asking will a 306 beam fit it? If so, the answer is no it will not.
