Fitting An Omp Cage

Recommended Posts

R5-al

Ive just got me a 10 point roll cage for my 205 (sunroof model) and on the fitting article on here it says that the headlining has to come out.

I was just wondering if anyone has managed to fit a cage with the head lineing left in as I would like to keep mine if poss.

I have got the rear half of an omp cage in mine with the head lining still in place. You have to remove the sunroof sliding blind and rails for it to fit. I cut the lining in half and slide both bits back into place once the cage was fitted, you can't see the join as its directly above the hoop bar.

Mine is fitted with the roof liner in place. As Wes said I had to remove the sunroof slider blank parts too.

Slight change and hijack but does the safety devices cage (c12) need headlining to be removed?
