Anyone Know This 205'gti6?

Hi guys, looking at a 205 with a 6 engine thats currently for sale on another forum, Its white and reg is d544 tbg.

 

Seller has very basic info and is taking a while to get back so just wondering if it has ever been on here and any info on it at all?

The thing with GTI6's is that they are easy enough to bodge up on your drive - so if there isnt a great deal of info about it, the likely hood is that it is a bodge. Any photos at all? Its going to be a phase 1, so fairly complicated wiring compared to a phase 1.5/2.

 

Has it been tilted or is it sat properly, how have the water pipes been done? has the mount bracket been cut, is it even a phase 1 engine? could it be a multiplexed install

I get what you mean, this would be my first 205 coming from 306s. I cant tell i have asked for more pics but this is the advert.

 

Im not intrested in it for 2k though espcially with such minimal info but id be up for a look. Also wanting to know what that milage rlates to engine or shell.

He seems pretty clueless - unless he has looked at the brakes he could potentially be selling a death trap - if the seals have broken down because its used the wrong fluid in there.

Also wrote on on that first thread that the car was cheap to buy and having worked on it with self confessed little knowledge and trying to pass it on at £2k is ridiculous.
