Leaking Fuel Tank, Is Repairable Or Is It New Tank Time?

Just been working underneath my car and noticed a smell of fuel looked around and found the exhaust had melted the tank abit and fuel is seeping through the melted patch. Is it possible to repair or shall go and buy a second hand one?

I'd definitely get a replacement and refrain from using the car in the mean time! Also find out why the exhaust has been melting the tank, excessive movement? centre hanger not doing its job? Heat shield in place?

There's no heet shield where it's melted should there be one near the tank? I'm hunting for a new tank from now then! Since fitting new back box it's been a problem with it been close never realised just how close
