Fuel Lines/pipes

Recommended Posts

pugmarshall

Hi all,

The fuel lines underneath my 205 diesel are a work of art; Part metal, part rubber, kinked and rusty...

Obviously I am going to sort this out, but the problem is I enquired at my local Peugeot Dealer and apparently they don't make replacements any more. The parts guy said that they were never metal, just one big rubber line, which doesn't sound right at all...

Basically, I need to know what should be there and what I can use/where I can get replacements.

Any help is much appreciated!

they are rubber form the pump to under the car (connection is just after the floor pan turns flat just infront of the tank.) then they are hard line upto the front and end about 1/3 of the way up the firewall where they turn back into rubber hose.

You may be best off going back in armed with part numbers. The numbers are listed on here if you have a quick search. Registering up for service box is worthwhile for occasions like this. Alternatively various members share their login details. Goliath has some details within his signature :)

Try a different dealer too...

Eejits in glasgow pug told my mum that 405 speedo cables were not available, two days later pug in cardiff had one for me.
