2.0 8V Turbo Question Gti6 Pistons ?

I'm wondering if Gti 6 forge piston will fit in my 8v turbo engine ?

Physically fit, yes (when also using the appropriate conrods in the pistons were designed for, of course).

 

Whether they would be in any way an improvement or even a good idea is another matter entirely of course, of which I'm guessing it won't be....

Probably be too high a compression ratio due to the head chamber cc differences.
