Evening all

Ive replaced all the linkages, gearbox has been rebuilt

1st, 3rd & 5th are okay/not great side to side, but seem to go forward a long way, like they're in gear fine, but then the lever is able to be pushed further

whilst 2nd & 4th are tight and feel fine

Its got new peugeot linkages on all but the longer horizontal linkage, which has a Kam Racing one instead, so all fairly okay

Ideas: linkage Bushes? maybe inspect and replace?

cheers John

L-quadrant pivot bushes being worn or loose would be my guess - give it a wobble and if it has noticeable slop up and down then that's likely you're problem

The main issues is the ball on the subframe, quite often these go loose over the years and a new Washer & Nut sorts out the problem, But the ball cup's are wearing now like the linkage rods and I will have a fix for these coming soon

Any news on your fix? I'm after a new ball cup on mine as it knocks loudly when moving the gearstick i.e. its very worn!

Yes I do, But it's a rose jointed part now so I would need your old linkage arm first at the moment
