1.9 style split rims for me. The original 1.9 wheels are a bloody classic, can only be beaten by "themselves" I think. If I was going to have a 205 to keep forever I'd get a set of Tom's 2-piece conversions for it.

SL434s I'm slightly apathetic about - I don't think they look all that great, but they are nice and I totally get the heritage/provenance angle on the 205 which definitely boosts the appeal.

I have a set of these in the shed, 405 t16 16" 6.5j wheels. I personally love them. But shame they weren't 15", I think 16" may be overkill on a 205.

I'll gladly swap my set of five 405 mi16 15" wheels for those!

I have pictures of various wheels, I like all of them for different reasons except the XR2 one's - they just didn't do it for me

revolution RFX, 15x8 ET 0 IIRC, so a decent arch is needed!

Ahh of course, its on 406 or 307 hubs which push the drive flange further from the strut i think.

Although recently I am having thoughts about putting smaller brakes on and standard wheels.

I do still really like the 106 Rallye wheels

Ultraleggeras don't suit a 205, but they're the lightest wheel you can buy so are forgivable. :D

PR1.2 suit the car a lot better and are almost as light.

On a road car it's standard wheels or GTFO. Nothing else suits the styling, except maybe the Fondmetals.
