Xu7 / Xu10 Head Dimensions

Recommended Posts

I wondered if anyone knows the angle of the valves in the cylinder head, and also the spacing of the valves when closed relative to the centre of the cylinder. If that makes sense?

Any 16v XU head, I'm guessing they're all the same.

I have had a search but not been able to find anything.

Cheers,

Alex

If you can read a DXF file I could send you this, XU9J4/XU10J4. As best as I could measure for getting pistons made many years ago.

XU7/10 valves are 0.1mm smaller than those shown above, J4RS inlet smaller again at 34.10mm, exhaust larger at 30mm dead.

not sure if combustion chamber capacity differences from the MI's to the later heads changes any of the dimensions, but I guess not.

You mean XU10J4R head on a 1.9L bottom end? The answer is yes. Not sure which belt.
