Checked the wiring condition from the box under the carpet to the rear? May be chaffed.

I've had it where the rear light loom at the back has been been full of water and because of that shorted out the wiring causing the fuse to blow

after replacing the fuse for the 6th time and wiggling it around, it works okay and shows no signs of the last 30 minutes of fekking around, grrrrr.

would it be wise to spray the fuse board and into the fuse slots with contact cleaner?

Don't know about RHD looms, but in the LHD it's the same fuse for the reverse lights, might be a short in there?
