My New Rims (Thoughts)

Well here we go again , ive dont a few things to the car in my 10months of having her some of which have had a postive and negative effect , my workshop thead even caused a stir (not all good haha)

 

So here we go , i found a set of 15 inch 406 bbs starfish coupe wheels which i got the tyres removed

Then i painted them all up

Then got tyres back on and on car

 

 

Not going to be everyones cup of tea thats for sure but hey ho , its something different and i love them

I'm not a fan of those wheels on 205's (not just your car, but also others I've seen running them), but fair play to you for trying something a little different with the wheel and colour choice - and if you like them, that's aguably all that matters

I don't really like the colour scheme of your wheels but it fits in with your car so not too bad. Not really my cup of tea though!

The look will fall foul of those with more traditionalist leanings (like me ). Gave my gf and burd mates a glance at the pics and they (somewhat predictably) love the look which, in the grand scheme of things, probably matters more in the real world.

That's a very bright white - bit of a shock lol Did you not fancy leaving them completely red, or just doing the lip white & the bulk of the alloy red, as that would probably blend better with the white inserts?

 

Mind you i'm one to talk - first I was considering Ouragans, now i'm weighing up the option of Corails or the S16 alloys for mine - although probably sticking with black to not stand out so much hehe

Maybe the other way around in colours would have looked better as in, red star and white rim ?

Definitely not a fan, they look a bit clown-car-ish to me. It's not just that I'm a bit of a "traditionalist" with the look of a 205, colour coding on wheels generally just looks awful. Sorry.

Well its the same white as the speedlines , didnt get any complaints about that white , maybe the sunlight is making them look super white abd fair play seems its a big no but im going to stick with them
