Ive decided all white! Its a shame in theory it should have suited it but maybe the red been too light makes them odd i dunno but all said and done im delighted with the paint finish tbh

As mentioned, all that matters is if you like it, but as you've asked for options I'll give mine:

They look f@cking awful mate, as does the rest of the car i'm sorry to say. I see you're handy with a spray gun, why not put your efforts into spraying it a GTI colour, fit some textured plastics and some speedlines and be done with it. Yea it might look like any other GTI but there's nothing wrong with that!

Not my thing either. As plenty have said above, they're your wheels...

I agree with Wes, would like to see anthracite trim strips and 1.9 wheels with that red...

Well thats fine bud not all will like but id rather have something different than be boring and play it safe etc ,

The wheels will be going all white ( still wont chane some peoples thoughts but hey hoo ) was my first plan anyway but decided to have ago and see what i can do.

The finish on them is very good and il take a big plus away from that , and id rather try and fail than not try

+1 ^^^ it does`nt pay for us all to be the same mate if we all followed suite the world would be a boring place .Keep at it mate your a good painter by the looks of your work .Try painting things like carbon ,water droplets in your paint, etc etc.Should keep you busy its really easy aswell because your already good at the basics .

Doubt mine will be for the purists either but close up when the sun hits them they look good. From a distance though they look totally black and go well with the car...

When I saw them pained white I thought they could look good, but I'm not a fan of the red / while mix.

Perhaps white centres, with a red lip the same thickness as the bumper insert would give a better balance and tie it in better with your styling?
