Standard Back Box Or 3" Backbox

Im undecided wheither to put on my 3" backbox(off my old 205) onto my new one, its very loud,so any spirted driving will be heard, atm i just have a chrome tip on my standard back box

 

what do you think?

The general opinion on this forum is bigger is better.

Stick the 3 incher on and then there will be no confusion over how big your man sausage is.

I should add that the above is a joke, don't put a 3" exhaust on your car inless you want to look a complete plank or have about 1500bhp

Yep! middle and back are standard.

Just looked at your project thread, your old 205 that was rear ended, had a back box that was around a 3"er

You're right, well 2.25, but that was 2009 and it had been on since 2001 - and the oe system had been sitting in the garage for a year waiting to go on.
