Correct Jack For 1992 Cti

Hi All,

 

My j plate 205 CTI didn't have a jack or a wheel brace when I got it, So imagine my delight today in the local scrappy when I found a near prefect Jack and Wheel brace under the bonnet of a sad looking 205 diesel.

 

 

 

On the plus side the wheel brace fits perfectly :-)

I'm sure my jack was under the seat, on my 93 / K

 

 

it should be a scissor jack I iirc

Mine was a jack in the engine bay on my 1993 L plate with a raised up jack point. He is a pic from years ago, pre respray and turbo etc...

Hi yes that's what it looks like, so does the scissor type bolt to that raised angle bracket or the stud?

 

Also does anyone have a scissor type jack they want to swap for a 'normal' type jack, their is one on ebay but it looks a bit ratty and is considerably more then the £5 I paid for mine or am I just tight

Got it off ebay and sent it for powder coating, got it back today, looks like new.

had to remove the 2 plastic parts which are easy enough to remove and refit.

I take it the picture you got was off German ebay, as I ve just realised I ve got my brother in law (who lives in Germany) to get that one for me and bring it over in a couple of weeks when he's over.
