I though that I ought to post some pictures up considering I got the car over 12 months ago.

Suffice to say that I have spent more than £1000 so far and that it will be a few more months before it turns a wheel.

I have had the approach that I will only need to do big jobs on it the once.

A few of how it looked when I got it:

And how it looks now:

There are 4 big jobs on the list next - engine and gearbox back in with new clutch and cable, rear beam and all brakes on, clean/paint the underneath in body colour (no corrosion found on the sills near the tank thankfully) and refit the new brakes pipes once made up from cunifer pipe.

To be honest, I'm not sure you need much of a push - just looking at and comparing the before and now pictures a few posts up will show the massive improvement that the car has undergone since you bought it.

Keep up the good work and have the car ready to enjoy come the spring :)

Yes Craig, I got them from Walsall Panels and Lights - £50 the pair off Ebay, the rears were the same price too.

Thanks Anthony, it is a long hard slog and the change in the weather will hinder me now too. Looking forward to the spring though.

Thanks for the comments lads.

Hoping to get a quote to paint the engine bay in the coming weeks and the beam will be ready soon too and then the reaasembly can start full speed.

I best get underneath sharpish before I have to shift snow from around it!

The car was MOT finally on 12 August shortly after returning from the Festival of Speed where it was on Peugeot UKs stand.

I am using it daily whilst the roads and parking at a rural train station is quiet and so far it is running great.

Fantastic turnaround. Car looked worse than it was. Good to see it like that now!
