Tps Sensor

Dose anyone know if the tps sensor on a gti6 should click when just opened as mine don't plus it's full of oil and has no resistance when turned dose this sound faulty ??

no, its a sensor not a switch, so no clicks

Should there be oil in side??

No,oil inside it points to a leaking throttle body spindle but there should be minimal oil in the throttle body anyway from the breathers.

Right ive put a new tps sensor and a new idc on and it still idles at 4k the idc wont move!!any ideas?my mates comeing round tomorrow with a multi meater as he can read one un-like me my cars only been on the road a week could we have missed something??
