hoban81 7 Posted June 11, 2013 Its looking weathered so was wondering if there is a guide for this. Its a phase 2 spoiler screwed to the car not stuck to window. Cheers for any advice.
iPlod999 143 1 Cars Posted June 21, 2013 What covering is on the spoiler, paint? Is black plastic/rubber? A picture could help. Is it black plastic even!
hoban81 7 Posted June 21, 2013 It's the black rubber phase 2 spoiler It's just weathered and patchy. Thinking just rub it down a bit and spray with some black hammerite.

BERTMAN 40 1 Cars Posted June 21, 2013 I wouldn't rub it down. That will just destroy it. Try a dye such as the one mentioned in the post above...

eddie bullit 37 Posted June 21, 2013 Mine on a previous pug was pitted and messy. Rubbed it down and sprayed with suitable matt black paint..think it was from Frost. Looked as good as new.

hoban81 7 Posted June 23, 2013 (edited) Cheers for the link Andy. I removed the spoiler today and rubbed it down. I gave it 2 coats of Plasticare and It has turned out very good. I have more than enough left to dye the body trim which I will be doing in the next 2 weeks before it goes to the body shop for some up keep. Edited because of s*it spelling.
