Scrap Yard Gem

found a little gem in the scrappers yesterday. a 205 xs looking worse for wear but definatley not ready for scrap ! :(

although this has enabled me to bag myself a full set of very good seats ,original jack and locking pin, original fully working clarion stereo, brand fire new gear link rod and im going back today to rape it of more bits. its a huge shame but my gain.

Good find :)

I was over at a local scrappy last week and its amazing what seems to be classed as fit for scrap. There were 3 Quicksilver 106. 1 had light front end damage the other was admittedly suffering bad rot in the inner wings. There were loads other cars that simply looked too good to be there.

Got offered a CTi at one the other day. Bloke won't sell bits off it - just the complete thing. I've too much on at the moment to take him up on the offer and part it out but I can't see it going anywhere soon as its been there a good few years already.

also got digital clock in mint condition and top coin tray with working clip !!! :D and front gti valance (which cost me all of £3) :D that should keep me happy for now
