hi again guys im over in gibraltra and info is imposble 2 find bout 205's ere as im the only person with one in the country as evey1 else has civic vtec vti's :s lol like i said im after a pair of weber 45's (cant get a remap hear) so no tb's but i wanna no the most high lift cam i can get and how hard is it 2 make the lobe slots bigger like evey1 says as im confused about that so if sumone culd guide me the rite way i would b very thankfull to you all thanks jamie

What other modifications are you prepared to make to the engine. Buying the camshaft a could end up being the cheapest parts. And why Kent?

well im not 2 botherd wot make realy its only coz there a kent dealer just across the boder but dont mind any outher make as will order online im thinkin of sum foged pistons and conrods with sum weber 45's and anything anyone else i culd get power out of?

Bit harsh but I agree. It´s very hard to understand what you're saying Jme. There are lots of us non-natives here in the forum and txt-talk very difficult to understand for us. I'm pretty sure it is quite irritating for English natives as well.

hi guys sorry for my txt talk i will post in proper english this time... i wold like to know what is the highst lift cam i can have in a mi16 1.9 without head grinding??? ive seen on the search that 300 is the limit just will like to make sure this is rite befor i buy a set i will be puttin weber 45's on it and mabey some high comp pistons and rods thanks alot jamie

I had some airly lumpy sticks in my old 2.0 mi 16 head - the issue is that material needs to be taken out of the head for the lobes to turn without catching. Also, your engine might have had a skim, or need a skim, your block might need decking. this means your best bet is to dummy build an engine and see what clearance you have after that. plenty of info on this website and forum about mi16 camshafts.

wow thanks for the very very fast reply head has just been skimed and block didnt need to be decked is it a hard job to take out the matireal fot the lobes to spin free?? ‹
