Exhaust Centre Section For A Catted 205

Recommended Posts

Henry Yorke

Hi,

I might need to replace the mid section on my CTI as there is a crack in it. Currently it is a mild steel Walker one with a Magnex rear silencer. The Walker centre section has a silencer in it and my local factors says they can get one for £30 (not sure of the brand).

Are there any stainless centre sections available?

Were there any catted straight through 205's without the centre box (I can't think of any myself)?

Cheers,

Henry

I've got a Euroflo one iirc mated to my magnex manifold but I've never seen one without a centre box fitted to a cat equipped xu engine, can't say I've done much looking though.

Yes I think the XUDs had straight through centres from memory. I thought I was clutching at straws...

Some did but they had a one piece front pipe / two piece system & never ran with a cat.

My STDT had a centre box built in with the front pipe just like the phase 2 GTI system.
