Double Fan Unit

I'm thinking of swapping my standard fan unit to double whammy! Anyone done this? Is it much louder and any benefits noticed????

It's a tad louder, it's not needed unless you have a TD or AC

 

If your getting too hot you have other issues...

are you running significantly more power than standard and therefore producing a lot more heat and the cooling system is struggling to maintain a decent temperature when stationary?

 

if not, then a standard single fan unit working correctly is more than sufficient.

Cheers lads, it doesn't over heat overly fast but I thought it might be a good idea considering its any easy swap. Thanks for the advice, I might reconsider.

concentrate your efforts on ensuring the system is healthy, i.e drop in a standard 83 degree thermostat, check the fan is working as intended and that all the hoses are not perished, metal pipe in the wheelarch is not rusty, and the rad is not a sieve.
