Car not running at moment as changing engine wiring, came across it the othe day

Will be some sort of 'security' device no doubt.

 

Trace the wiring and consider removing and replacing with something else if it's not up to scratch.

Car runs like a dream then sometimes just cuts out hence why changing wiring, had Clifford alarm which was disconnected and I think problem is to do with that so swapping all wiring.

I thought it might be a adjustment sensor for alarm sensitivity?

Not had chance to strip all wiring out yet to chase
