Any Feedback On Falken 914's

Having used the 912's for a few years I know the latest revision is out now, I would just buy some for me but I have a customer needing some tyres so before going all out I was wondering if anyone has used any yet, No comments on other tyres please as they need to be 185/55/15 so it does limit my choice somewhat

I'm using these on the front end of my Seat Leon TDI 150 (225/45R17)

I like them!! They grip well, especially for the price, and they almost make cornering feel a lot more secure than it was before the change. However, the last set on were a pair of Kuhmo rubbish and were scrubbed...

They're not the quietest of choice!! On nice new roads which are normally silent, you can hear them, but they're not deafening by any means.

 

Personal choice:: I'd use them again!!

I fitted a set on my 306 hdi about 400 miles ago & so far I'm more than happy with them.

 

Replaced a set of 912's & even new with curing agent on they are at least as good, once I get a few more miles on them I can't see why they'll get any worse.

Brilliant tyre so far. Hold up to the torque of the V6 better than the yokohama's on there before which were £30 a corner more expensive!

Got mine about a month ago and they've brilliant. Transformed the handling from the old budget Barums that were on there. They have firmed up the ride a bit I think, but really give so much more confidence. I would recommend them.
