Ecu From Ebay..

More than likely rubbish but anyone tried one of the Bosch ecu's off eBay that are supposably super chipped with raised limiters to 7900..?

Diode cut out, Superchips didn't touch the limiter, have a search and you'll find some info on them on here

Indeed not, if you have an engine that really does need to go past the standard 6200 1.9 8v limit you'd be wise to use an ecu capable of being mapped.

 

Doesnt have to be aftermatket, but does make it a lot easier, systems like mp3.1, mm1ap10, mp5.1/5.2 can be used, mp3.1 from a zx volcane probably the closest map and engine spec wise.
