205 /306 Front Springs

anyone know if these are interchangable between models-- want some stiffer fronts on a 306 road rally car WITHOUT going to coilovers [before its suggested !] just out for cheap fun -- got a tarmac stage car to spend most money on !

if not any good does anyone know a source of stiffer 306 springs ??

they will fit however I couldnt comment on what ride height you will get, pro0bably a significant increase over standard, however spring rate is not that much higher.

 

peter lloyd rallying and a few others do some standard height rally springs at around 160 lb/in from memory where standard is around 90-100.

 

306 around 120 lb/in but longer.

Eibach progressively wounds? I'm unsure whether the lowering side effect would be a problem for your use though.

ignore my post up there, I missed you have a 306 not a 205 rally car

 

some custom springs from Faulkners would be best bet then, or if you ahev dampers capable of being taken apart, weld on some coilover sleeves.
