Gents

As you will know I currently make a few parts, front bumper spacers, bumper corner bars, airbox brackets, and now spot light brackets.

In the pipeline I am planning stainless balljoint protectors, and stainless rear bumper valance stays.

If anyone has other suggestions I am happy to look at other parts, so really, what do you think is required?

P/s bracket would be good as no dealers have that either.

What about AFM bracket ?

Exhaust heat shields also ?

Spare wheel cages ?

Rear bumper counterleafs with stainless screw that goes in the middle of the rear bumper that siezes solid?

Front bumper bars that bolt to the front of the bumper and the inner arch counterleaf?

Also the cage screws that holds the slam panel down at the front and the rear exhaust heat shield they are NFP and i have some?

Seat bolts as they always seize into the floor?

Front rubber bumper/headlight light clips.

Not seen a 205 in a breakers for years, and all adjusters I've seen don't adjust.

What about rear bump stop cups? Aren't they NFP these days?

two in the one I go to regularly, all you need to do is add wd40 and they work.

I'd vote for bump stop cups, I fitted new ones during my rebuild, and its clear they arent going to last that well, the galv seems a bit crap on new ones.

If you're not too fussy about keeping O.E. then tool clips can be used as these :)

Farmer, I do t get it, why buy new if you can get good used?

It's only new till you take it out the packet, then it's used.

If there is no scrapies, used is not an option, plus when i can get access to new parts for a favourable rate it's a no brainer.

Stuff hunting about scrapies anyway.

Feel free to find good used window scrapers, door seals and window seals etc.

Just to highlight an example why pay £150 for a used rear beam, when i just bought a new tube with bearings for £75.

Lucky you, there's not been any in all the ones around me for a long time. even base models.

no-one in their right mind pays that for an used beam, unless it has rebuild history of course.

Seen plenty on Ebay go for that.

:blink:back on topic?

Clips for the resistors, I can not make anything thats any better than a toolboard type clip so thats a no go I am afraid.

Earth points are a possible, I will have to have a look at one, however they are fiddly so probably would end up too expensive, but I will investigate.

Headlamp adjusters, are these not still available new?

Bump stop cups, they are a possible, will look into those.

Thanks gents
