Upratted In Tank Fuel Pump?

Has any one fitted an up ratted in tank fuel pump i understand there is no direct fit pump?

 

Id rather not go for an external bosch 044 as my tank has a swirl pot / lift pump set up built in but uses the std 205 pump to feed the engine so i just want to replace this for an upratted item i dont mind a bit of tinkering to get somthing to fit but dont want to make myself loads of work.

 

Any one done the same?
