What Gear Lever Do I Have? (Picture)

The gear knob that came with my car is a old 205 item that is falling to bits, its been drilled out to fit the lever, can some identify what model of car my lever has come from (cable gear change)

 

 

I would like to shrink wrap the lever and fit a lovely new knob!

In my coupe I had cut the top part of that off and bared the shaft in the middle... Then put the knob back on... It made the gear shifter about 4/5 inches tall absolute tops!! I really liked it, but it was an acquired taste I think!!

 

The benefit to the shaft is that you aren't stuck with only a 406 knob... Others will fit too like the 206 I think??
