Boot Hinges

Hi, i went to fit my freshly painted boot and found that the bolts dont match, my boot only has one hole and my hing has two. is there a difference in hinges?

i had same problem i managed to get correct hinges of email but if look at your hinges it will have the centre hole marked so you coulf allways just drill the hinge.

Aye, you can just drill the buggers out as the hole pattern is stamped in them. Been there, done that.

 

If you drill in situ, make sure you get rid of every little bit of swarf afterwards. I wasn't thorough and the little bits that were left around the boot seal rust quickly and make a bit of a mess. Not a crisis, but a stupid hassle if it happens.

cheers guys, will give it ago, i saw the stamp on the hinge in the center and wondered if i could do that, cheers for the confirmation, i will get it driiled out
