[Para 82 2 Cars]

Have you seen it yet ? News are circulating around for a while, 208 T16 will be competing in famous Pikes Peak hill climb with new car, they really want to win, purposly build 208 has all it needed for winning. Power to Weight ration 1hp to 1kg , group of the best sponsort including Red Bull / Michelin and Total, and Sebastian Loeb behind the wheel. What do you think ? They will pull it off ?

The car doesn't have much in common with 208 and even less with T16, they still trying to bring back the soul of the rallye legend in their new cars that's why they are using those names. What I can say is that they really made a massive effort to create this car, and we didn't see that from Peugeot in a long long time.. Last time it must be 205 & 405 T16 when they created new car from the scratch.

 

I just hope they will record some video like the famous one with Ari Vatanen, to bad the whole Pikes Peak is tarmac now.

Yes... that was a success, I think they are using good few elements from this car into 208 Pikes Peak. I would be interested to watch the climb, I wonder what station would show this.

I really hope they will make it to the top They pulled me back in when it comes to following their achievements in motorsport, I can't wait to see that climbing to the peak.

With Loeb behind the wheel, as long as nothing breaks they're bound to take the top spot. Likewise I reckon Ford and Gronholm would have done the same a couple of years ago had they not suffered a massive turbo pressure leak a few minutes in.
